Whitelisting is automatic but there are a couple of steps to ensure the process goes smoothly.
Connect Patreon to Discord
Connect MinecraftAuth to your Minecraft, Patreon, and Discord accounts
Get Whitelisted on the iSV server
Connect Patreon to Discord
Follow the instructions posted on their support page.
Once complete, this will automatically add you to the iSV Community Discord and update your roles so you can see the Supporter-Only channels.
Connect MinecraftAuth to…
Minecraft account: Go to MinecraftAuth.me and click "Login with Microsoft" to connect your Minecraft account to MinecraftAuthentication.
Patreon: Click on the Patreon button to login and connect with Patreon.
Discord: Click on the Discord button to login and connect with Discord.
Any other connections are optional, but you must connect at least your Minecraft, Patreon, and Discord. Once complete you will be able to login to any Server that is using Minecraft Authentication for its whitelisting processes. All iSV servers currently use this service therefore you will now have access to them all.
Get Whitelisted on the iSV server
In Discord, make sure you have "Allow Direct Messages from Server Members" enabled. This is in User Settings -> Privacy and Safety.
Launch the version of Minecraft supported by the server (see FAQ for current version).
Choose Multiplayer and click Add Server.
In the Server Address field, enter the iSV server URL found in the FAQ and login.
When you login for the first time you will be given a 4-digit code to DM (Direct Message) to a Discord Bot. Note the bot name and code.
In Discord, locate the member list on the right side and look for Server-Bots near the top.
Click on the bot name that you need to DM, find “Message,” enter the 4-digit code, and send it to the bot.
You will get a response saying your Discord account has been linked.
The Discord bot only updates the whitelist once per day, so the whitelisting process can take up to 48 hours. If you are still not able to get in after this time, please ensure all the steps have been completed and accounts are all linked properly. Once you have verified, please ask for help in isv-ask-a-mod in Discord.
If you have any other problems, you can get help in server-tech-support.
